- In The Spirit Of Christmas is a grass roots charity initiative serving, primarily, Ottawa West shelters and low income citizens with gifts and food hampers for their families at Christmas time. Woody has Conservative political affiliation and is a radio personality in Ottawa with several community efforts in progress. The Chixie Dicks are a non partisan band who, themselves, are a PARTY. We're available for most charity invites. Will work non-charity events for fees forwarded to OUR favourite causes.

Important Information
Ted Long is a local interior painter and designer who runs Soft Strokes Painting.
Woody is a morning co-host at CHEZ 106 FM radio in Ottawa.
We met several years ago and began working together on this effort three years ago to continue Ted's ongoing effort to make a difference.
Woody has seen the difference made. He has seen the work being done. He has also seen Ted do things in the middle of the summer to make things right for people. "I feel it's time for everyone to be like Ted", says Woody. "We can't wait for government to fix everything. We have to do what we can for people NOW!"
We're an unregistered charity and, as such, we cannot issue tax receipts. We're simply people helping people who really need us.
